Each institution's courses and grades are isolated. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS), passwords are stored as one-way hashes, and access is invitation-only and role-based — with two-factor authentication staff can enable and your organization can require for its administrators. Backups run nightly, encrypted, to storage in a separate provider — and we rehearse restoring them, because a backup nobody has tested isn't one. Every support access to your organization is disclosed in your own audit log. If a breach ever poses real risk, we notify affected users promptly. We don't sell data and we don't run ads.
You provision nothing, patch nothing, and back up nothing — and if you ever leave, you can export your institution's data. Deletion and export requests are filed from your own portal and tracked to resolution, not sent into a mailbox. The managed model means less to run, not less control.
